Sometimes you are looking for interesting activities or websites to share with your children. When you are in need of some inspiration please try some of these sites, they are all free to use and an excellent resource:
 www.cbeebies.co.uk – a great site filled with different interactive games, songs, activities and printables which relate to many areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
 www.ictgames.co.uk – really useful site with great interactive games linked to maths and phonics you can try at home.
 www.crickweb.co.uk – great site for practising mouse control skills, learning about colours and looking at shape, space and measures.
 www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/learn/children-and-families/nature-detectives/ - lovely ideas and activities for learning about nature, identifying trees, bird spotting and outdoor creativity.
 www.activityvillage.co.uk – this site has literally hundreds of activities and printables linked to all types of themes and cultural celebrations.
 www.rspca-education.org.uk/ - lovely and informative site aimed at teaching children about animals and how to care for living things.
 www.letters-and-sounds.com/phase-1-games - Great site for helping your child with their letters and sounds, the building blocks of reading. This link will take you to Phase 1 games but when you feel your child is comfortable with these you can move onto Phase 2 games which are also on this site.
 www.familylearning.org.uk/counting_games - Lovely site with different interactive games linked to counting. There are also a range of numeracy and literacy games on this site you can access.
 www.nhs.uk/change4life/pages/fun-generator-mobile.aspx - Change4Life contains lots of useful information on healthy eating but also dozens of ideas for physical activities you can do with your children. This links to the “fun generator” which has 100 physical activities for you try.
 www.do2learn.com/index.htm - This site contains lots of useful information and activities for all children but can be especially helpful for those children who are struggling with something like behaviour or communication.
 www.teachyourmonstertoread.com - an amazing site, which is free to log onto and takes your children through their Phase 2 sounds step by step with fun interactive games. The children love this site.
 www.twinkl.com – lovely site full of resources for you to print out at home. It also contains some lovely powerpoint presentations and quizzes, on a range of topics, that you can share you’re your child.
 www.phonicsplay.co.uk – great site for practising phonics.
