Fees and Hours

We are open from Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year. We are closed on Bank Holidays, and for a week at Christmas.

You can drop off and pick up your child at any time of the day if you are booked in for the full day but the price stays the same.

If your child is booked in for the half day, you can drop off and pick up any time between your half day hours but again the price remains the same. The rate is higher because it is more difficult for us to fill the other half day slot. It is however reasonable when compared to other childcare options. If your child is absent for any reason the full cost for your session is still payable.

If your child qualifies for Universal Entitlement funding you can access 15 hours a week, term time only. You can choose the sessions that meet your needs and these will be free and include all meals and snacks.

If your child qualifies for Extended Entitlement (30 hours funding) you can access 30 hours a week, term time only.

Due to large numbers of children at Bouncy Bear with many different allergies (some life threatening) and religious dietary needs we are unable to accept lunch boxes being brought into the setting. It would also not be possible for us to store five meals / snacks for 60+ children daily whilst meeting the food regulation guidelines. It is a huge cross contamination and food safety risk for children and carers.

If you wish to access fully free sessions, with no meals or snacks included then you can book your child between 10am to 12pm and / or 3pm to 5pm. There is no artificial break as you are unable to pay extra to attend between 12pm and 3pm.

Example: Child attends on Monday All Day, Tuesday Morning and Wednesday and Thursday 3pm to 5pm / Term Time only. If they received 30 hours funding all the sessions would be free for them to access and include all meals and snacks on the Monday and Tuesday sessions.

If you want your child to attend more than 15 hours a week, term time only and do not want the sessions above which avoid snack and meal times there will be an additional service charge.

For example: If your child will be attending three full days a week, term time only, then there will be additional service charge for meals and snacks of £11.00 for a full day and £5.50 for a half day after taking out the first 15 hours of funding. So in this case the childcare fees would be £16.50 week for three days childcare, term time only.
